A View from the DART.

View from the DARTAuthor: CAPRANI, Vincent.

Dublin: MO Books, 1986. 142 pages. Illustrated. Paperback.

Vincent Caprani is a DART commuter and a well-known Dublin writer. His historical romance and gothic suspense novels, Polmarran Tower, The Bride of Invercoe and The Wolves of Monte Neve (written under the pseudonym Charlotte Massey) have sold well over a quarter million copies and have been published in the UK, the USA, Italy, France, Germany and Scandinavia. His historical non-fiction work, The Spirit and the Heritage, was published in Rome, 1979, and his collection of Dublin working-class verse and reminiscences entitled Rowdy Rhymes and Rec-im-itations has become part of the Dublin ballad/pub scene since its publication in 1983.

In A view from the DART Vincent Caprani combines the instincts of a historical romanticist with the acute observations of a dyed-in-the-wool Dubliner who loves the lore of his native city and who chronicles many of its traditions and stories.
