Barryscourt Castle is a fine 16th-century tower-house at Carrigtwohill, Co. Cork. The Barryscourt Trust was established in 1987 with the aim of conserving, enhancing and developing the heritage potential of the castle.
In 1996, the Barryscourt Trust instituted a bi-annual series of lectures on Medieval Ireland. This is the first in the series, with plans, maps and photographs of Barryscourt Castle.
